Here are some of the businesses and projects I’ve been involved with. Each project starts with identifying a problem and finding ways to use my code and design skills to solve it. My favourite projects are the ones I’ve done for Holly, as they have made a real difference to her life and the lives of her carers. I find it far more fulfilling to create solutions that improve people’s lives than to work for faceless corporations making products that offer little value beyond taking money from forgotten subscriptions.
Holly’s Helpers
An app with videos and written instructions for Holly’s shifts, including demonstrations for stretches, exercises, dog care, and making coffee. Previously, my fellow carers and I had to find the videos in the group chat, as well as source all the written instructions. This site makes it easy for carers to access all videos and instructions, whether on their phone or any device.

Holly’s Rota
An online rota system that allows my fellow carers and me to see our shifts, swap shifts, and make notes for Holly. Previously, the rota was done on paper and posted into the group chat. Changes would often happen, leading to crossings out and reposting. The rota would then get lost in the group chat, causing confusion. This system nullifies all of that, making it easy and accessible for everyone.
A collaborative project with Holly, who has ataxia. Holly creates hand-drawn illustrations on paper, which I digitise using Procreate on my iPad. Together, we’ve created Christmas cards, we were runners-up in a logo competition for a local charity and have been featured by the UK Brain Charity. For my Master’s project, I also created a children’s pop-up book about Ghana, incorporating Holly’s illustrations to bring the story to life.
A kitchen and bathroom supplier and installer based in Norwich. I redesigned and developed their previous Squarespace website into a custom React site to allow for greater flexibility and scalability as their business grows.
Property renovators in the East Midlands, specialising in transforming homes. The previous website was a DIY WordPress site. I redesigned and developed it into a custom React site to allow for greater flexibility.
A creative florist based on the Isle of Wight. This site was previously made with Wix. I redesigned it in Figma, then used Next.js to develop the new site and integrated Stripe’s API to create a custom checkout experience. The site is fully responsive and designed with accessibility in mind.
